Коричневые пятна на луковице нужно соскрести кончиком ножа до светлой ткани. Ранки луковицы после удаления пятен обрабатываются зелёнкой.
Бывает, что коричневые пятна уходят глубоко, их приходится вырезать. После такого оперативного вмешательства всю поверхность среза нужно пропитать зелёнкой. Обработанный срез на луковице вскоре подсохнет и потемнеет, но луковица останется жива и будет цвести.
После посадки луковиц гладиолусов с признаками болезни, за ними нужно следить и при появлении пятен на листьях растения удаляют.
4. После удаления пятен на луковицах их следует дезинфицировать с любым фунгицидным средством. Из специализированных средств для обработки луковиц популярным препаратом является «Максим». Многие цветоводы обеззараживают луковицы цветов в светло розовом растворе марганцовки.
Для тех, кто не любит химию, предлагаю использовать настой из чеснока, это народное средство отлично обеззараживает семена и луковицы перед посадкой. Нужно 3-4 крупных зубчика чеснока измельчить, залить стаканом тёплой воды и опустить в настой луковицы на 1-2 часа.
5. После обработки луковиц цветов от вредителей и болезней их промывают в чистой воде, раскладывают на чуть влажной салфетке или чистом песке в комнате. Луковицы должны лежать в тёплом помещении на светлом месте без прямых лучей солнца. За 2-3 недели луковицы прорастут и дадут зелёные ростки высотой 5-10 см.
6. Для посадки гладиолусов место выбирайте солнечное, защищённое от ветра. Чтобы земля весной быстрее прогрелась перед высадкой луковиц, выбранный участок накрывают тёмной плёнкой в начале апреля. Удобрять почву для гладиолусов нужно только комплексным минеральным удобрением, вносить перегной, навоз или другую органику не рекомендуется.
