Это самая распространенная в мире садовая группа роз. Действительно, цветки этих юз крупные, диаметром 8-12 см, большей частью ароматные, одиночные, отличается изяществом формы, богатством окраски и продолжительностью цветения. Для большинства сортов характерны бокаловидные бутоны. Кусты прямые, иногда раскищстые, высотой 60-100 см, с мощными прямыми побегами и большими красивыми листьями.
Могут переносить температуры до -10° С. В средней полосе зимуют, но требуют обязательного укрытия на зиму.
