После цветения завязь с верхними 1-2 листьями обрезают до нормального листа из пяти листочков. В конце первой волны цветения куст прореживают, удаляя, для осветления и уравнивания кроны, из середины мелкие, загущающие веточки. Делают это так, чтобы верхние почки были направлены наружу куста. У сильно раскидистых кустов с полегающими побегами, наоборот, обрезку следует проводить на почку, направленную внутрь.
