Прорастание семян боярышника
У семян многих видов боярышника толстая оболочка, поэтому необходимо провести их стратификацию. Семена (косточки) перемешивают в неглубоких ящиках с влажным песком или торфом (1:3), затем ящик ставят в помещение, где поддерживают температуру в пределах +22-25 ° С не менее 4 месяцев.

Высокая температура способствует растрескиванию косточек. После этого ящик с семенами переносят в помещение с температурой +4-7° С и держат там еще 6-7 месяцев, но даже после стратификации всходы бывают редкие.
