При одинаковом уходе отсутствие плодоношения у некоторых кустов смородины может быть связано с их сортовыми особенностями и сроками цветения. Сильнее всего цветки и молодые завязи повреждают весенние заморозки.

В это время кусты необходимо укрывать. Завязываемость ягод снижается в холодную и ветреную погоду из-за плохого лёта насекомых — опылителей. Жаркая и сухая погода сокращает период опыления цветков.

Мы советуем подбирать самоплодные сорта, сажать кусты в защищенных от ветра местах в жаркую погоду увлажнять почву и воздух, привлекать шмелей и пчел. Но, самое главное, на участке должны быть сорта с разными сроками цветения и плодоношения.

Кроме того, причиной отсутствия урожая может быть опасное микоплазменное заболевание — реверсия (махровость) смородины. Признаки махровости легко обнаружить во время цветения.

Цветки у больных кустов имеют ненормально узкие лепестки, чаще всего фиолетовой окраски, пестики сильно разрастаются. Цветочная кисть похожа на тонкую зеленую веточку с чешуйками вместо ягод. Листья вместо обычных пятилопастных становятся трехлопастными и вытянутыми, кусты сильно загущаются. Лечению это заболевание не поддается, поэтому важно своевременно выявить больные кусты, выкорчевать их с корнями и сжечь.
