Флоксы размножают делением куста и черенкованием. В июле побеги нарезают на части с двумя узлами. Нижние листья на черенках удаляют полностью, а верхние укорачивают на 1/3. Черенки высаживают на грядку с рыхлой землей, притеняют и ежедневно поливают теплой водой. Особенно быстро укореняются черенки с пяткой, которые уже к осени превращаются во вполне сформировавшиеся растения. На постоянное место флокс метельчатый высаживают весной.
