Нарциссы – красивые весенние цветы, они украсят ваш цветник, если вы проведете их правильную посадку осенью. При простом уходе нарциссы пышно цветут, быстро размножаются и не болеют несколько лет на одном месте.

Современные сорта нарциссов удивляют роскошной формой цветков и необычной окраской. Если раньше нарциссы были стандартно желто-белой окраски, то сейчас можно приобрести сорта цветов с розовыми, красно-оранжевыми и лососевыми оттенками.

Простые нарциссы хорошо смотрятся в саду рядами, весной их зелень из длинных узких листьев со стройными стеблями образует ровный бордюр, украшенный изящными цветками. Нарциссы хорошо сочетаются с другими весенними цветами – тюльпанами, гиацинтами, мускарями, вместе они создают красочную композицию. Сортовые махровые нарциссы лучше сажать в самом центре клумбы небольшой куртиной по 9-11 луковиц одного вида, тогда группа эффектных нарциссов возьмет главную роль в цветнике, дополнят их вокруг быстро разрастающиеся весной очитки, живучка или камнеломка.

Нарциссы легче выращивать в открытом грунте, чем тюльпаны или капризные гиацинты, так как луковицы нарциссов не нужно ежегодно выкапывать, хранить до посадки при определенных условиях и высаживать на новое место каждую осень. Луковицы нарциссов могут расти без пересадки 3-5 лет, при этом они размножаются с каждым годом и цветут все пышнее. После того как гнездо луковиц уплотнится, растениям не будет хватать питания, цвести нарциссы станут слабо, их цветки будут меньше, значит, пришло время их выкапывать и рассаживать.

Строение луковицы нарцисса обычное – в основании луковицы донце, из которого вырастают тонкие белые корешки и к нему крепятся запасающие чешуи, покрытые сверху коричневыми сухими плотными кроющими чешуями.

Луковицы нарциссов имеют выступающую конусовидную вершину, если выкопав луковицы, обнаружите сращенную луковицу с одним донцем и двумя или тремя вершинами, знайте, что она дает несколько стеблей с цветками. Луковицу нарцисса с несколькими вершинами можно разделить, отрезав каждую вершину с частью донца, а срезы обработать древесным углем и просушить перед посадкой.

Когда сажать нарциссы.

Как все весенние луковичные  цветы после цветения у нарциссов отмирает наземная часть, а луковица переходит в состояние покоя, именно в этот период их выкапывают, обычно в конце июня.

Извлеченные из земли луковицы цветов просушивают под навесом пару дней, затем очищают от земли, высохших корешков. Здоровые чистые луковицы рассыпают в ящики в один слой и хранят до осени. Луковицы нарциссов нужно хранить в прохладном сухом месте при температуре +17…+19 градусов.

Посадку нарциссов можно делать в конце лета с середины августа и в начале осени, весь сентябрь и начало октября в зависимости от погодных условий. Именно в это время в продаже появляется множество импортных сортов. При покупке луковиц, слегка сдавливайте их пальцами, они должны быть плотные с целым донцем и гладкой плотной шейкой сверху.

Покупать и садить нарциссы, выкопанные в период цветения с листьями, стеблями и цветками не стоит, также нельзя выкапывать и пересаживать луковицы нарциссов весной с ростком. Осенью садить нарциссы уже поздно, когда наступили постоянные заморозки и промерзает почва.

Посадка нарциссов.

Место. При выборе места для посадки луковиц цветов учтите следующие требования:

— хорошо если цветник где будут расти нарциссы будет солнечным, допускается лишь небольшое его затенение на пару часов в день.

— нарциссы не садят под кронами деревьев, у основания кустов или вплотную с многолетниками, так как их кони будут мешать развиваться луковичным цветам.

— не подходят низкие места для посадки луковиц, так как их весной всегда затапливает талая вода.

— не рекомендуется садить нарциссы повторно на том же месте или там где росли флоксы, многолетние астры или хризантемы. Нарциссы хорошо выращивать там, где были бобовые, огурцы, помидоры, пряная зелень.

Почва. Нарциссы любят слегка влажную питательную землю с нейтральной или слабощелочной реакцией. Перед посадкой луковиц землю перекапывают за 2-3 недели, вносят перегной, фосфорные и калийные удобрения, а также древесную золу.

При выращивании луковичных цветов следует учесть, что питание они берут из слоя почвы ниже донца, а сверху они должны быть присыпаны рыхлой легкой землей, которая хорошо пропускает воздух и влагу.При посадке луковиц мы допускаем одну и ту же ошибку, выкапывая лунки, снимаем удобренную плодородную землю, размещаем луковицы на глубинном слое без удобрений, корни луковиц проникают дальше на 20 см, где нет добавленной органики и минеральных веществ.

Правильная посадка луковиц нарциссов должна проходить так:

— так как нарциссы мы часто садим рядами или группами, то для посадки нужно копать траншеи или широкие лунки на глубину не менее 40 см, при этом верхний плодородный слой почвы на 20 см откидывайте в одну сторону, а нижний слой почвы со дна траншеи в другую.

— Глубокие траншеи необходимо засыпать на половину плодородной почвой взятой с верха, в которую были внесены перегной и удобрения, чтобы глубина лунки для посадки луковиц стала 15-20 см. Мелкие луковицы нарциссов нужно садить на глубине 10-15 см.

— на плодородном слое размещайте луковицы в траншее на расстоянии 10-15 см. Если луковицы подвержены заболеваниям, дополнительно насыпьте под каждую луковицу подушку из чистого песка.

— засыпайте лунки и траншеи с луковицами землей с нижнего слоя без удобрений и перегноя, при этом её рекомендуется смешать с песком, для повышения воздухо и влагопроницаемости.

Участки, где посажены луковицы цветов на зиму укрывают слоем сухих листьев и втыкают ветки, чтобы задерживался снег.
