Прищипывание помидоров при выращивании
Плоды первой кисти (самой ранней) часто подвержены фасциации. Это физиологическое нарушение связано с суточными перепадами температур. Достаем из аптечки йод
Листовые и корневые прикормки йодом также ускоряют созревание помидор. Первую обработку на участке проводим в период бутонизации соцветий, вторую — через пару недель. Прекращаем полив и подкормку помидоров
Зайдя ранним утром в теплицу или огород, мы увидим, как на листьях растений скапливается влага. Этот процесс называется гуттацией. При нем кусты сами выделяют излишки влаги. И чем холоднее будет ночь, тем сильнее утром «плачут» овощи. В конце лета томаты взяли силу и налились соком. Питательные вещества из почвы им больше не нужны, а редких дождей хватает для поддержания основных вегетативных процессов в стеблях.
Поэтому, продолжая обильный полив, помните, что помидоры будут избавляться от излишков воды. При низких ночных температурах это приведет к увяданию кустов и скручиванию листьев. Кроме того, в теплицах с высокой влажностью плодятся грибковые инфекции, уничтожающие урожай.
Затягиваем помидорные стебли проволокой
Если мы окончательно прекратили полив, а конец сезона выдался дождливым и пасмурным, спешим ограничить поступление воды к стеблям. Самый простой метод — потянуть за куст до треска корневой системы. Поврежденные корни не смогут напитывать влагой растения и овощи перестанут «потеть» по ночам.
Другой способ — расщепление стебля. Вам понадобятся нож и деревянные щепки. Отмерьте 12 см от основания ствола, воткните в него нож и проведите десятисантиметровый разрез вверх.
