Как ухаживать за фасолью?
Для фасоли выбирают хорошо прогреваемый солнцем и защищенный от северных и северо-восточных ветров участок. Почву заправляют компостом, вносят комплексное минеральное удобрение. Кислые почвы известкуют.

Семена высевают, когда почва на глубине 10 см прогреется до +10° С, в третьей декаде мая — начале июня. Кустовую фасоль сеют на грядки поперечными рядами, расположенными через 20 см друг от друга. Глубина заделки семян 3-5 см.

После посева почву укрывают лутрасилом, что способствует сохранению влаги. Первое рыхление проводят, когда растения достигнут в высоту 6-7 см, второе — с одновременным окучиванием и прополкой сорняков (через 2 недели после первого). До образования 4-5 настоящих листьев фасоль регулярно поливают, затем полив прекращают и возобновляют только с началом цветения.

К вьющимся и полувьющимся сортам, когда растения достигнут в высоту 10-12 см, ставят опоры.

Подкармливают фасоль 2 раза. Сначала это делают при появлении первого настоящего листа: на 10 л воды берут 5-10 г мочевины, 15-20 г суперфосфата и 10-15 г калийной соли. Вторично фасоль подкармливают перед цветением, при этом используют только фосфорные и калийные удобрения в тех же дозах.
