Как вырастить жимолость из семян?
Зрелые ягоды на 3-5 дней помещают в холодильник. Ящик заполняют субстратом для посева (смесь дерновой земли, перегноя и песка в равных объемах). Посевные бороздки делают через 5 см и укладывают в них ягоды.

Сверху насыпают субстрат слоем 1 см, поливают, накрывают пленкой или стеклом и содержат ящик в притененном месте. Субстрат регулярно поливают, поддерживая во влажном состоянии. Через 20-30 дней после посева появляются всходы (каждая ягода дает 10 проростков и более). Ящики переносят на свет.

Всходы поливают и проветривают, постепенно приучая к естественным условиям. К осени на растениях образуются 3-5 настоящих листочков. Поздней осенью ящик с сеянцами утепляют опавшими листьями, а затем снегом. В марте его заносят в теплое помещение, и растения трогаются в рост. Их высаживают в торфо-перегнойные горшочки и выращивают до высадки в открытый грунт. После окончания весенних заморозков сеянцы сажают на грядки с плодородной почвой по схеме 25 х 25 см и притеняют. Осенью сеянцы высаживают на постоянное место.

В условиях любительского сада жимолость съедобную проще всего размножать простыми вертикальными отводками. Для этого надо отбирать крайние ветви с хорошими приростами и окучивать их рыхлой плодородной почвой.

В отличие от горизонтальных отводков, окучивание которых проводят только после отрастания из почек молодых побегов, вертикальные отводки весной надо окучить как можно раньше. Чтобы они хорошо укоренились, очень важен рыхлый субстрат, поэтому желательно иметь листовую землю или перепревшие опилки.
