Клематис можно омолодить, разделив куст на части. Для этого ранней весной или осенью растение осторожно выкапывают, отмывают корни от земли, а затем руками делят на части. Каждая деленка должна иметь хорошо развитые корни и 1-4 побега с нижними почками. Перед посадкой поврежденные корни удаляют острым ножом или секатором и присыпают места срезов молотым древесным углем. Деленки высаживают в приготовленные ямы так, чтобы первый узел побега был заглублен примерно на 8-10 см. В зависимости от размера куста его можно разделить на 3-10 растений.
