В парниках и теплицах периодически снимают верхний слой почвы и отдельно складывают в небольшой штабель, переслаивая полуразложившимся навозом (50-80 кг на 1 м3) или птичьим пометом (8-10 кг на 1 м3) и увлажняя навозной жижей.

После зимнего промораживания штабель перелопачивают, а затем используют землю для мульчирования ягодных кустарников и плодовых деревьев.
