Продление жизни срезанным цветам
Хвойный экстракт — весьма эффективное средство, продлевающее жизнь срезанных цветов чуть ли не в 2 раза. Цветки полностью раскрываются, усиливается яркость их окраски. Препарат предотвращает развитие бактерий и плесени, препятствует помутнению раствора, поэтому стебли можно не подрезать, а сам раствор не менять в течение всего времени, что цветы стоят в вазе. Для приготовления раствора в 1 л воды добавляют 50 г жара и 10 г хвойного экстракта.

Чтобы предохранить воду от гниения, можно положить на дно вазы серебряную монету или кусочек древесного угля. Эффективно добавление в воду таблетки аспирина или 2-3 г лимонной кислоты на 1 л воды. Для замедления процесса гниения можно использовать следующий раствор: 1 л воды, 50 г сахарозы и 0,2 г борной (аскорбиновой, лимонной) кислоты. Опущенный в вазу с цветами кусочек медной проволоки также предупреждает развитие бактерий и помутнение воды. Если все эти способы вы считаете затруднительными, воспользуйтесь готовым препаратом «Покон».
