Размножение ирисов
Сортовые ирисы размножают только вегетативно — делением корневища. Пересаживают каждые 4-5 лет, в июле — начале августа. Выбирают светлые, теплые, защищенные от ветра, хорошо дренированные участки с окультуренными почвами, нейтральной или слабокислой реакцией почвенного раствора (pH 6,5-7,0).

Сажают корневище с 1-2-годичными звеньями и укороченными до 10 см листьями и корнями. При посадке корневище располагают на уровне почвы, а на легких песчаных грунтах заглубляют на 1-2 см. При посадке рядами все деленки ориентируют срезом корневища в одну сторону, вдоль ряда, при посадке группами — срезами к центру. Расстояние между рядами — 50 см, между растениями — 25-30 см.
