Применяют и комбинированную мульчу, состоящую из полиэтиленовой пленки (можно использовать и старые куски спанбонда или лутрасила) и соломы.
Пленку (спанбонд, лутрасил) режут на ленты шириной на 10 см меньше, чем расстояние между рядами растений. Ленты расстилают в междурядьях и сразу закрывают их сплошным слоем соломы толщиной 7-10 см. Через 2-3 недели солома уплотняется, а толщина слоя сокращается вдвое. Такая мульча будет препятствовать засорению почвы сорняками и даст вам возможность заняться другими делами, более приятными.
