Драцена (Dracaena) – популярное декоративно-лиственное комнатное растение. Своим видом оно напоминает мини-пальму, хотя на Канарских островах она вырастает до гигантских размеров дерева с толстым стволом сильноветвящимся в верхней части, называют его «драконово дерево».
Род драцены очень многочислен. Виды драцены бывают в виде кустарников и полукустарников, травянистых растений, ложных пальм и древовидных форм. Многие из них довольно выносливы и нормально растут при низкой температуре воздуха зимой.
В комнате драцена хорошо смотрится как одиночное солирующее растение, так и в композиции с другими декоративно-лиственными культурами. Высокие похожие на пальму виды драцены хорошо подходят для озеленения офисов, гостиной или холла.
Наиболее распространены следующие виды драцены:
Драцена душистая (D. fragrans) с глянцевыми широкими и длинными листьями, расположенными на верхней части стебля. Листья изогнуты с слегка волнистым краем. Существуют сорта драцены душистой с листьями однотонного зеленого цвета и пестролистные с кремовой каймой по краю листа и тонкими серебристыми полосками в центре.
Драцена Годсеффа (D. godseffiana) с глянцевыми листьями ланцетной формы. Стебли тонкие и жесткие.
Драцена Сандера (D. Sanderiana) в виде полукустарника с тонким стволом и короткими по сравнению с остальными видами листьями.
Драцена окаймленная (D. narginata) с длинными до 70 см узкими листьями окрашенными в темно-зеленый цвет с красно-фиолетовой окантовкой по краю. Есть сорта драцены окаймленной Tricolor с желтыми и красными полосками и Colorama с широкими красными полосами с желто-зеленой серединкой.
Драцена отогнутая (D. reflexa) – сильноветвящееся растение с ланцетными листьями загнутыми вниз.
Драцена деремеская (D. deremensis) – древовидное растение имеет неветвящийся облиственный ствол. Существует несколько сортов драцены деремеской: Janet Creig Compacta с темно-зелеными листьями, Warneckii с белыми полосками по краю листа и светло зеленой серединкой.
Все перечисленные виды драцен адаптированы к комнатным условиям, но в зависимости от вида по разному требовательны к качеству ухода. Например, драцена душистая и окаймленная очень неприхотливы, хорошо переносят сухой воздух помещения, теневыносливы и не боятся сквозняков. Остальные виды более требовательны, им необходима умеренная температура зимой не менее +15 0С, правильный полив (почва не должна быть переувлажненной и не допускать пересыхания земли), частые опрыскивания.
Уход за драценой в домашних условиях:
Освещение для драцены желательно яркое с рассеянным солнечным светом, в тени пестролистные сорта могут поблекнуть.
В весенне-летний период активного роста проводите подкормки раз в 2-3 недели. Выбирайте готовые удобрения для пальм, драцен или декоративно-лиственных комнатных растений. Осенью прекращают подкормки драцены, полив также сокращают, вводя растение в состояние покоя на зимнее время.
Влажность воздуха для драцен должна быть на уровне 70-75%, поэтому опрыскивать растения следует регулярно.
Почву для пересадки готовят из равных частей дерновой и листовой земли, торфа, песка и перегноя. Корневая система драцены очень мощная и быстро развивается, емкость для посадки подбирайте глубокую, но не слишком широкую. Молодые растения пересаживают через 1-2 года, взрослые через 2-3 года, у крупных экземпляров только меняют верхний слой почвы.
Пожелтение и усыхание листьев драцены должно происходить при естественном развитии, так как лист живет около двух лет, потом начинает желтеть с верхушки и усыхать. Такие листья обрезают до здоровой ткани, не следует удалять его сразу целиком.
Также пожелтение листьев драцены может происходить из-за неправильного полива. Если желтеют молодые листья необходимо урегулировать полив – растение поливают после подсыхания верхнего слоя земли в горшке, не допуская пересыхания всего земляного кома.
Появление коричневых кончиков и краев на листьях может быть вызвано недостаточностью влажности воздуха или сквозняками.
Перелив драцены может привести к загниванию корней, как следствие осыпание листьев и засыханию побегов. Спасти растение можно только пересадкой с удалением загнивших корней или черенкованием.
