Церападус Падоцерус

И церападус, и падоцерус являются межродовыми гибридами между вишней и черемухой (латинское название вишни — сегавш, а черемухи — раёив), с той лишь разницей, что церападус был получен путем опыления цветков вишни пыльцой черемухи, а падоцерус — наоборот, от опыления цветков черемухи вишневой пыльцой. На практике различить эти гибриды иногда могут лишь сами селекционеры, знающие, что чем опылялось.

Тем не менее церападусы оказались более удачными и получили большее распространение, поэтому для обозначения обоих разновидностей гибридов данного типа часто используют это название. Церападусами также называют и более сложные гибриды исходных видов — второго-третьего поколений.

Первые варианты этих гибридов использовались главным образом как подвои для вишни и черешни, улучшающие их стойкость к холоду и болезням, но после повторной гибридизации появились формы и сорта с достаточно хорошим качеством плодов, которые заслуживают того, чтобы рассматривать церападусы в качестве самостоятельной плодовой культуры.

Биологические особенности
По строению дерева и соцветий церападус — дерево с мощной корневой системой, которое по внешнему виду сильнее напоминает черемуху, чем вишню, при этом сами его плоды больше похожи на некрупные вишни, но собранные в гроздь по 3—6 штук. Вкус этих плодов довольно сильно зависит от сорта, они могут быть как терпкими почти до несъедобности, так и довольно приятными, кисло-сладкими.

От черемухи церападусы унаследовали высокую зимостойкость и устойчивость ко многим болезням, в том числе к коккомикозу.

Ценность культуры
Плоды сортов церападуса с улучшенным вкусом можно использовать в точности так же, как обычные вишни, к которым они близки по химическому составу.

Использование церападусов в качестве подвоя для сортовых вишен позволяет выращивать последние в регионах с суровыми зимами и тем самым продвигаться культуре на север.

Сорта
Сорта церападуса и падоцеруса с хорошим вкусом плодов чаще всего относят к сортам обычной вишни, как, например, Долгожданная и Новелла (церападусы) или Алмаз, Жар-птица, Корона и Оксамит (падоцерусы).
В качестве подвоев для вишни используются сорта церападуса ВП-1, ОВП-2, ОВПг3 и Рубин, для черешни— ВЦ-13 и ЛЦ-51.

Агротехника
Практически совпадает с таковой для вишни, однако церападусы менее требовательны к условиям произрастания и не нуждаются в дополнительных мерах по защите от грибковых болезней.
