Слива русская (Алыча гибридная)

Ни в одном из ботанических определителей растений, равно как и в старой садоводческой литературе, никаких упоминаний о существовании этой сливы вы не найдете. И не случайно: во-первых, эта культура — рукотворная, а во-вторых — едва ли не самая новая из известных. Ее начали создавать в конце XX века в рамках выведения новых, более морозоустойчивых сортов крупноплодной алычи, но уже в начале нового тысячелетия выяснилось, что у селекционеров получилось нечто далеко выходящее за пределы определения понятия «сорт» —новая отдельная плодовая культура.

Поначалу ее называли алычой гибридной, а потом остановились на наименовании «слива русская». Кроме уже упомянутой алычи, в ее генетический материал вошли гены уссурийской, американской и китайской слив и вишни бессея. Это гибрид, выведенный на основе других гибридов, да еще и на фоне межродового скрещивания. По продуктивности русская слива не уступает алыче, по качеству плодов — лучшим сортам сливы домашней, а по зимостойкости превосходит обе эти культуры и к тому же устойчива к выпреванию, от которого стра-дают многие холодостойкие культуры. Есть вероятность, что уже в недалеком будущем она как минимум хорошо потеснит привычные нам алычу и сливу, а то и займет их место и в крупных садоводческих хозяйствах, и в любительских садах.

Биологические особенности
Дерево у русской сливы в зависимости от сорта или такое же, как у алычи, или как у сливы, у большинства сортов дает обильную корневую поросль. Есть сорта с оригинальным строением кроны, например колонновидным. Многие сорта цветут позже сливы и алычи, что позволяет избегать вредоносного влияния весенних заморозков на цветочные почки, хотя в целом сроки цветения у разных сортов различны. Плоды чаще всего шаровидные или овальные, реже — удлиненно-яйцевидные, у большинства сортов массой 30—40 г, как правило, очень ароматные; окраска в зависимости от сорта варьируется от желтой и красной до синей, вкус десертный. Косточка у большинства сортов отделяется легко.

Как уже упоминалось, культура изначально задумывалась как более зимостойкая, чем ее культуры-предшественницы, однако в областях с зимними температурами от -35 °С и ниже ее рекомендуют укрывать. Прочие привычки русской сливы ближе к таковым алычи — она любит хорошо дренированные суглинистые и супесчаные почвы и открытые места, не терпит тяжелых грунтов и переувлаженения.

Большинство сортов частично самоплодны, но все же желательно размещать рядом с деревьями и кустами русской сливы опылители (возможно не отдельными экземплярами, а прививкой их в крону), которыми могут служить как другие сорта этой же культуры, так и обыкновенные алыча и слива.

Ценность культуры
Главная ценность культуры — возможность получать плоды, не уступающие по вкусовым качествам южным сортам сливы в регионах с более суровым климатом. В остальном же и использование, и биохимический состав плодов (а значит, и лечебно-диетические свойства) русской сливы такие же, как и у сливы домашней. Кроме того, русская слива очень красива, особенно во время цветения, и является хорошим медоносом.

Сорта
В Госреестрах Украины и РФ сорта русской сливы на сегодня считаются сортами алычи, под таким же наименованием их можно встретить и в продаже.

Наиболее распространены:
Злато скифов. Сорт создан в Московской сельскохозяйственной академии им. К. А. Тимирязева для средней полосы России. Среднего срока созревания. Дерево среднерослое. Самоплодный сорт. Плоды массой 30—40 г, ярко-желтые, ароматные; косточка от мякоти не отделяется.

Колонновидная. Сорт отличается поздним сроком цветения и необычным естественным строением кроны — она очень вытянутая и состоит, кроме лидера, всего из 3—4 скелетных ветвей, которые во время плодоношения полностью покрываются плодами. Плоды массой до 40 г, округлые, темно-красные со слабым ароматом, вкус кисло-сладкий.

Комета поздняя. Сорт получен из сеянца Кубанской кометы (см. ниже), очень на нее похож, но созревает в среднем на 10 дней позже.

Кубанская комета. Дерево слаборослое. Плоды средние й крупнее среднего ^масса 35—40 г), бордовые, кисло-сладкие, созревают в начале июля. Косточка легко отделяется от мякоти. Урожайность — около 50 кг с дерева. Плоды можно использовать в свежем виде и для всех видов технической переработки. Зимостойкость высокая, засухоустойчивость средняя.

Найдена. Дерево слаборослое. Плоды средние (масса до 30 г), яркие красно-бордовые, кисло-сладкие, созревают в начале — середине августа. Косточка легко отделяется от мякоти. Урожайность— около 50 кг с дерева. Плоды можно использовать в свежем виде и для всех видов технической переработки. Зимостойкость высокая (выше, чем у Кубанской кометы), засухоустой-чивость средняя.

Обильная. Сорт выведен в Государственном Никитском ботаническом саду на основе сливы сорта Бербанк и алычи Таврийской. Плоды крупные (масса 35—45 г), мякоть светло-желтая, кисло-сладкая, вкусная. Косточка хорошо отделяется от мякоти. Плоды созревают в июле.

Подарок Санкт-Петербургу. Сорт создан на опытных станциях ВНИИР им. Н. И. Вавилова. Районирован по Северо-Западному региону. Плоды мелкие (средняя масса 12 г), удлиненно-яйцевидные, желтовато-оранжевые, ароматные, созревают в конце августа. Хорошего кисло-сладкого вкуса. Урожайность 30—40 кг с дерева. Сорт отличается не только высокой зимостойкостью, но и в целом рекордной устойчивостью к неблагоприятным климатическим факторам, болезням и вредителям. Самобесплоден (нуждается в опылителях).

Путешественница. Для средней полосы России. Сорт раннего срока созревания с очень поздним цветением. Плоды средние (масса 25 г), темно-красные, ароматные.

Тимирязевская. Сорт создан в Московской сельскохозяйственной академии им. К. А. Тимирязева для средней полосы России. Раннего срока созревания. Дерево среднерослое. Самоплодный сорт. Плоды массой 30—40 г, красные, ароматные; косточка от мякоти отделяется легко.

Выбор места
Слива русская хорошо растет на любой плодородной почве, кроме глинистой и переувлаженнной. Для нее выбирают теплые, солнечные места. На малоосвещенных участках с недостаточной циркуляцией воздуха деревья дают плохой урожай, плоды накапливают меньше сахаров и чаще поражаются грибковыми болезнями.

В целом русская слива гораздо менее требовательна ко всем остальным факторам и лучше переносит ошибки ухода, чем слива домашняя.

Способы размножения
Сливу русскую можно размножать и порослью, и прививкой на поросль (окулировкой «глазком»), но в местах с суровым климатом выращивание корнесобственных саженцев из поросли является более предпочтительным — в этом случае у экземпляра больше шансов восстановиться после повреждения морозами, а кроме того, они меньше страдают от болезней.

Схема посадки, размер посадочной ямы
Густота посадки деревьев на хороших почвах (при орошении): для сильнорослых сортов — 8×6 или 8 х 4 м, для слаборослых — 6×3 или 6 х 4 м. Размер ямы — 60 х 70 см.

Уход
Осенью, под перекопку, в почву для сливы русской вносят 4—6 кг навоза или перегноя, 100—150 г суперфосфата и 30—35 г калийной соли на 1 м2. В посадочные ямы насыпают 8—10 кг перегноя.
Лучшее время для посадки этой сливы — весна. После посадки саженцы обрезают и поливают (3—4 ведра воды на растение). На протяжении весны и в начале лета поливают еще 2—3 раза.

Обрезка, формирование кроны
Крону сливы русской формируют обычно как у сливы домашней — чаще всего разреженно-ярусной, однако при формировании необходимо учитывать природные особенности сорта — его конституцию не стоит менять, лучше поддерживать в этой форме. Общее правило: при обрезке молодых плодоносящих деревьев нужно придерживаться принципа подчинения ветвей центральному проводнику, хотя не столь строго, как у семечковых.

Вредители и болезни
Те же, что и у алычи с обычной сливой, но поражается ими слива русская в целом реже.
