У сортов обычной малины после сбора урожая вырезают все 2-летние побеги, не оставляя пеньков, и сжигают их. Уплотненную почву рыхлят вилами на глубину до 10 см, удаляют сорняки, в засушливую осень поливают.
Ремонтантные сорта малины в сентябре еще плодоносят. Кусты можно накрыть лутрасилом, чтобы продлить период сбора ягод. После сбора урожая полностью срезают все побеги — на следующий год ягоды появятся на новых.
