Серебристая вишня
Серебристая вишня — это лох многоцветковый. Родом он из Центрального Китая, откуда попал в Японию. В этих странах лох — распространенная плодовая культура. В средней полосе России ее выращивают с середины прошлого века.

Это кустарник со светло-зелеными продолговатыми листьями, серебристыми с нижней стороны. Форма его может быть самой разнообразной: от пирамидально-сжатой до сильно раскидистой.

Во время цветения куст покрывается душистыми кремовыми цветками, свисающими с побегов как сережки, а во время созревания — ярко-красными, на длинных плодоножках, округлыми или цилиндрическими сочными плодами величиной с вишню. Их различают по массе, размеру, вкусу — плоды напоминает одновременно ананас, яблоко и вишню с разной степенью терпкости.

Плоды лоха многоцветкового обладают тонизирующими и противовоспалительными свойствами, помогают при расстройстве желудка. Листья содержат много витамина С, их сушат и заваривают, как чай. Свежие плоды хранят не более 4-5 дней. С 6-8-летнего куста в средней полосе собирают 2-4 кг плодов.
