Семейство Розоцветные.
Черешня — близкая родственница вишни (разные виды, но один род, см. Вишня). В прошлом их даже рассматривали как единую культуру, и все же она отличается от вишни большей сладостью плодов, за что ее иногда называют «сладкой вишней».
Черешня еще более выраженная «южанка», чем вишня, и выходит за пределы европейской части континента лишь в Средней Азии.
Биологические особенности
Естественная форма кроны у черешен — от пирамидальной до округлой. Как и вишня, черешня отличается сильным ростом и даже превосходит ее по этому показателю (черешни-дикоросы могут достигать в высоту 25 м), при этом выраженных кустовидных форм у черешни, в отличие от вишни, нет, а побегообразовательная способность у нее слабее.
Генеративные почки формируются на силь-ных однолетних побегах и на укороченных букетных веточках, в которых и концентрируется плодоношение, причем располагаются они в нижней части приростов (в верхней части расположены вегетативные почки). Как правило, плоды появляются у черешни раньше, чем у большинства сортов вишен.
Черешня самобесплодна, для ее культивирования обязательно нужны сорта-опылители. Вишней она не опыляется, но может служить ее опылителем.
Главное отличие черешни от вишни — ее большая теплолюбивость, слишком низких зимних температур она совершенно не выносит, в остальном агротехника возделывания этих культур весьма похожа. Граница ее промышленного культивирования на территории бывшего СССР проходит по линии Калининград — Минск — Чернигов — Харьков — Ростов — Астрахань и далее спускается к среднеазиатским республикам, однако в дачных и приусадебных хозяйствах отдельные сорта выращиваются в центральных районах России.
Ценность культуры
Черешню ценят прежде всего за отличный вкус плодов, которые используются в целом так же, как и плоды вишни. По химическому составу они также очень похожи, с той лишь разницей, что в плодах черешни содержится намного больше сахаров (до 18 %), среди которых на первом месте стоит глюкоза, а в плодах желтоплодных сортов несколько меньше витамина Р.
Сорта
В мире Насчитывается около 4000 сортов черешни, из них в Украине районировано 33 сорта, среди которых новых сортов советской селекции —18, иностранных — 13, местных народных — два. В РФ — 46 сортов, из них более половины (26 сортов) — по Северо-Кавказскому региону.
По консистенции мякоти все сорта черешни делят на две группы: бигарро и гини.
У черешен бигарро мякоть хрящеватая, плотная, сладкая, а сок слабоокрашенный или бесцветный. Лучшие представители этой группы: Бигарро Дайбера, Ге- дельфингенская, Дрогана желтая, Жабуле, Наполеон розовая, Франц Иосиф и др. Черешни бигарро высоко ценятся за то, что они не только хороши для потребления в свежем виде, но и пригодны для различных видов консервирования (компоты, варенье и др.), так как мякоть у них не разваривается.
Гини от бигарро отличаются нежной, мягкой и сладкой мякотью. Сок у них окрашен слабо или совсем не окрашен. К этой группе принадлежит большинство самых скороспелых сортов, однако в большинстве своем это сорта столового назначения.
По способности к ветвлению сорта черешни делят на слабо- и сильноветвящиеся.
Сорта, районированные в Украине
Бадачонская черная. Сорт венгерской селекции. Районирован в Закарпатской области. Дерево сильнорослое, крона редкая. Плоды крупные (масса 6—7 г), широкосердцевидные, темно-красные (почти черные). Мякоть сочная, плотная, темно-красная, кисловато-сладкая, вкус очень хороший. Урожайность средняя. Сорт очень требователен к теплу, зимостойкость низкая.
Багратион. Сорт выведен в Никитском ботаническом саду. Районирован в Украине в Крымской области; за пределами страны — в Азербайджане. Дерево сильнорослое, с широкопирамидальной густой кроной. Плодоносить начинает на 4—5-й год. По размеру плоды средние или крупнее средних (масса 5—6,5 г), округлояйцевидные, светло-желтые с красивым ярким румянцем, прочно держатся на дереве. Мякоть светло-желтая, иногда почти белая, очень хорошего вкуса. Сок бесцветный. В Крыму плоды созревают во 2—3-й декаде июня. Сорт отличается высокой урожайностью, плоды гнилью не поражаются.
Бигарро Тролля. Сорт, как и предыдущий, районирован в Украине в Крымской области; за переделами страны — в Азербайджане. Название сорт получил по имени оригинатора — эту черешню вывел Гролль в начале XIX в. в Губене (Германия). Дерево высокорослое, крона широкоовальная, редкая. Плодоносить начинает на 5—7-й год. Плоды крупные (масса 6—7 г), широко округлые, кремовые с розовым румянцем созревают со второй декады июля. Мякоть кремовая, плотная, сочная, сладкая, очень хорошего вкуса. Урожайность и зимостойкость средние.
Бигарро черновицкая. Сорт венгерской селекции. Районирован в Украине в Черновицкой области. Дерево среднерослое, крона широкопирамидальная. Плодоносить начинает на 6—7-й год. Плоды крупные (масса до 8 г) широкосердцевидные, темно-красные (почти черные), созревают в конце июня — начале июля. Мякоть плотная, темно-красная, сладкая, с легкой кислинкой, вкус оценивается как очень хороший или отличный. Сок темно-красный. Косточка мелкая. Урожайность невысокая. Транспортабельность плодов хорошая. Зимостойкость сорта средняя.
Валерий Чкалов. Сорт выведен на основе сорта Розовая. Районирован в Украине в Днепропетровской, Запорожской и Кировоградской областях. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 5—6-й год. Плоды крупные или очень крупные (масса 7—9 г), округло сердцевидные, темно-красные, при полной зрелости почти черные, созревают во второй декаде июля (на юге Украины — в первой декаде июня). Мякоть темно-красная, кисловато-сладкая, вкус хороший. Сок темно-красный. Урожайность высокая. В степной и лесостепной зоне Украины сорт ведет себя как зимостойкий.
Геделъфингенская. Районирован в Украине в Винницкой, Закарпатской, Кировоградской, Львовской, Одесской, Тернопольской, Хмельницкой и Черновицкой областях; за пределами Украины — в России в Краснодарском крае, Калининградской области и в Дагестане. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 4—5-й год. Плоды крупные (масса 7—8,5 г), широкосердцевидные, темно-красные, при полной зрелости почти черные, созревают в конце июня. Мякоть плотная, темно-красная, сладкая, очень хорошего вкуса. Сок красный. Сорт отличается нетребовательностью к почвам; зимостойкость достаточна только для юга Украины и Приднестровья.
Гермерсдорфская. Сорт германской селекции. Районирован в Закарпатской области. Деревья высокорослые, крона пирамидальная, густая. Плодоносить начинает на 3—5-й год. Плоды крупные (масса 6—8 г), продолговато-сердцевидные, темно-красные, при полной зрелости почти черные, созревают в середине июля. Мякоть светло-красная, средней плотности, сочная, кисло-сладкая, хорошего вкуса. Сок темно-красный. Урожайность высокая. Зимостойкость достаточная для Закарпатья. Недостаток — дождливым летом плоды сильно растрескиваются.
Гоше. Сорт германской селекции, название получил по фамилии оригинатора Н. Гоше. Районирован в Украине в Крымской области; вне ее пределов: в России — в Краснодарском крае, а также в Дагестане и в Туркменистане. Дерево высокорослое. Плоды крупные (масса 5—6 г), почти круглые, темно-красные, почти черные созревают в конце июня, пригодны для стола и технической переработки. Мякоть плотная, очень сладкая. Урожайность высокая. Сорт нетребователен к почве, среднезимостойкий.
Дайбера черная. Сорт получен в Крыму из случайного сеянца. Районирован в Украине в Винницкой, Днепропетровской, Запорожской, Ивано-Франковской, Кировоградской, Николаевской, Одесской, Тернопольской,
Херсонской, Хмельницкой, и Черновицкой областях; за пределами Украины — на Северном Кавказе и в Молдавии. Дерево рослое. Плодоносить начинает рано. Плоды крупные (масса 6—7 г), уплощенно-сердцевидные, темно-красные, иногда почти черные, созревают в конце июня — начале июля, на дереве держатся прочно, пригодны для потребления в свежем виде и для технической переработки. Мякоть плотная, очень сочная, сладкая со слабой кислинкой, вкус оценивается как очень хороший или отличный. Урожайность высокая. Сорт к почве нетребователен, но недостаточно зимостоек.
Днепровка. Сорт выведен на Мелитопольской опытной станции садоводства в результате скрещивания сортов Дениссена желтая и Жабуле. Районирован в Украине в Луганской и Донецкой областях. Сорт среднего срока созревания. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 5—6-й год. Плоды крупнее среднего или крупные (средняя масса 5—6 г, наиболее крупные — до 8 г), округло-яйцевидные, темно-красные, созревают во второй декаде июля. Мякоть светло-красная, сочная, с гармоническим сочетанием сладости и кислоты. Кос-точка средних размеров, от мякоти отделяется хорошо. Урожайность высокая. Сорт ценен засухоустойчивостью, зимостойкость достаточна только для юга Украины.
Дрогана желтая. Сорт германской селекции. Название получил по фамилии оригинатора Дрогана. Районирован в Украине во всех областях, кроме Закарпатской, Сумской и Черниговской; за пределами Украины — на Северном Кавказе, в Азербайджане, Армении, Белоруссии, Грузии, Казахстане, Киргизстане, Латвии, Таджикистане, Туркменистане и Узбекистане. Считается самым распространенным сортом желтоплодной черешни. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 3—4-й год, далее — ежегодно. Плоды довольно крупные (5—8 г), округло-яйцевидные, светло-желтые, созревают в первой декаде июля, пригодны для употребления в свежем виде и технической переработки. Мякоть кремовая или светло-желтая, плотная, сочная, приятного вкуса. Урожайность высокая. Транспортабельность плодов плохая. Сорт отличается нетребовательностью к условиям выращивания, зимостоек.
Жабуле. Сорт получен из случайного сеянца во Франции и стал родоначальником многих новых сортовых гибридов. Районирован в Украине в Винницкой, Днепропетровской, Донецкой, Запорожской, Ивано-Франковской, Николаевской, Одесской, Тернопольской, Херсонской, Хмельницкой и Черновицкой областях; за пределами Украины — в России, Дагестане, Грузии и Молдавии. Один из самых широко распространенных сортов черешни. Дерево высокорослое, крона округлая. Плодоносить начинает на 4-й год. Плоды средние или крупные (масса 5—7 г), широкоовальные, слегка ребристые, темно-красные, иногда почти черные, созревают в начале июня. Мякоть темно-красная, плотная, кисловато-сладкая, вкус очень хороший. Зимостойкость достаточна только для юга Украины и Приднестровья.
Запорожская. Сорт выведен на Мелитопольской опытной станции садоводства в результате скрещивания сортов Франц Иосиф и Ранняя Марки. Районирован в Николаевской области. Деревья высокорослые или среднерослые. Плоды средних размеров (масса 4,8—5,3 г), округло-овальные, ярко-красные, блестящие, созревают в среднем 10—15 июня, в отдельные годы — в первой декаде этого месяца. При обильном плодоношении плоды мельчают. Мякоть светло-розовая или красная, сочная, приятного винно-сладкого вкуса. Косточка мелкая, не отделяется от мякоти. Урожайность высокая. Сорт нетребователен к почве и засухоустойчив, зимостойкость достаточна только для условий юга Украины.
Золотая. Происхождение сорта неизвестно. Районирован в Украине в Крымской области, в Молдавии, Туркменистане и Узбекистане. Деревья высокорослые. Плоды крупные (масса 6—7 г), округлые, темно-кремовые, созревать начинают со второй декады июля. Мякоть светло-кремовая, плотная, сочная, сладкая, вкус оценивается как хороший. Сок бесцветный. Урожайность высокая. Зимостойкость достаточна только для южных районов.
Июньская ранняя. Сорт выведен на Мелитопольской опытной станции садоводства из сеянца черешни Французской черной. Районирован в Украине в Одесской и Херсонской областях. Деревья рослые, крона широкая, почти округлая. Плоды крупные (масса 7—8 г), широкоовальные, при полном созревании темно-красные, блестящие, созревают в середине июня, на 3—5 дней позже Жабуле. Мякоть светло-красная, достаточно плотная, сочная, винно-сладкая, вкус оценивается как отличный. Урожайность высокая.
Киевлянка. Районирован в Украине в Житомирской и Киевской областях. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 4—5-й год. Плоды крупные (масса 5—6 г), округлые, бледно-янтарно-желтые с красивым розовым румянцем, созревают во второй декаде июля. Мякоть светло-кремовая, средней плотности, сочная, сладкая с легкой кислинкой, вкус оценивается как хороший. Урожайность высокая. Транспортабельность плодов средняя. Зимостойкость достаточна для условий Лесостепи Украины.
Китаевская черная. Сорт украинской селекции. Районирован в Украине в Житомирской и Киевской областях. Дерево высокорослое. В пору плодоношения вступают на 5—6-й год, урожайные. Плоды крупные (масса 5—7 г, отдельные до 8 г), округло-овальные, темно-красные, почти черные, созревают в конце второй — начале третьей декады июня. Мякоть темно-красная, довольно плотная, сочная, винно-сладкая. Транспортабельность плодов хорошая. Зимостойкий сорт.
Красавица Киева. Сорт отечественной селекции, выведен в результате скрещивания Дроганы желтой. Районирован в Украине в Житомирской и Киевской областях. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 6—7-й год. Плоды средние или крупнее среднего (масса 5,3—6,6 г), округлые, светло-желтые с розовым румянцем, созревают во второй декаде июня (Киев). Мякоть белая, сочная, сладкая с заметной кислинкой. Урожайность высокая. Сорт относительно зимостойкий.
Красавица Крыма. Сорт выведен в Никитском ботаническом саду в результате скрещивания сортов Денис- сена желтая и Красавица из Тосканы. Районирован в Крыму. Деревья рослые, крона широкоовальная, густая. Плодоносить начинает на 4—6-й год. Плоды средние или крупнее среднего (масса 5—6 г), округло-сердце- видные, светло-желтые с красновато-розовым румянцем, созревают во второй декаде июня, на дереве не растрескиваются. Мякоть светло-кремовая, довольно плотная, сочная, сладкая с кислинкой, вкус оценивается как очень хороший. Урожайность высокая. Транспортабельность хорошая. Засухоустойчивый сорт.
Любимица Дуки. Сорт выведен в Украинском НИИ садоводства в результате скрещивания сортов Дрогана желтая и Жабуле. Районирован в Украине в Киевской области. Дерево рослое, растет быстро. Плоды крупнее среднего (масса 5—6 г), темно-красные, при полной зрелости почти черные, созревать начинают со второй декады июня (Киев). Мякоть бордовая, средней плотности, винно-сладкая, вкус оценивается как очень хороший. Урожайность высокая. Транспортабельность хорошая. Сорт достаточно зимостойкий для условий северных районов Лесостепи.
Мелитопольская поздняя. Сорт выведен на Мелитопольской опытной станции садоводства. Районирован в Украине в Николаевской области. Дерево высокорослое. Плоды средние или крупные (масса 5—7,5 г), сердцевидные, темно-красные, созревают в третьей декаде июля. Мякоть светло- или буровато-красная, плотная, сочная, кисловато-сладкая, вкус оценивается как очень хороший. Косточка мелкая, легко отделяется от мякоти. Урожайность высокая. Транспортабельность плодов хорошая.
Мелитопольская черная. Сорт выведен на Мелитопольской опытной станции садоводства. Районирован в Украине в Запорожской и Одесской областях и в Крыму. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 10-й год. Плоды крупные (масса 6—8 г), округло-овальные, темно-красные или почти черные, созревают в конце второй декады июня. Мякоть темно-красная, плотная, сочная, сладкая с кислинкой. Сок темно-красный. Косточка мелкая, от мякоти отделяется легко.
Наполеон розовая. Старинный немецкий сорт. Районирован в Украине в Винницкой, Запорожской, Кировоградской, Крымской, Львовской, Николаевской, Одесской и Херсонской областях; за пределами Украины — на Северном Кавказе, в Азербайджане, Молдавии, Таджикистане, Туркменистане и Узбекистане. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 3—4-й год. Плоды крупные, бледно-желтые с ярким розовым или вишнево-красным румянцем, созревают в конце июня — начале июля; дождливым летом возможно растрескивание.
Мякоть белая или кремовая, плотная, сладкая с легкой кислинкой, вкус оценивается как очень хороший. Косточка мелкая, от мякоти отделяется легко. Сок бесцветный. Урожайность высокая только в благоприятных условиях, без них — ниже среднего. Сорт очень требователен к условиям выращивания, сильно поражается плодовой гнилью.
Нектарная. Сорт выведен на Млеевской опытной станции садоводства из сеянца сорта Наполеон белая. Районирован в Украине в Винницкой, Кировоградской и Полтавской областях. Дерево рослое. Плодоносить начинает на 4—5-й год. Плоды средней величины (средняя масса 5,5 г, отдельные — до 7—8 г), темно-красные, блестящие, созревают во второй декаде июня. Мякоть темно-красная, сочная, нежная, сладкая с легкой кислинкой, вкус оценивается как очень хороший. Сок темно-красный, густой. Транспортабельность плодов хорошая. Сорт достаточно зимостойкий для Лесостепи Украины.
Приусадебная. Сорт украинской селекции, получен в результате скрещивания сортов Дениссена желтая и Жабуле. Районирован в Украине в Винницкой, Днепропетровской, Донецкой, Запорожской, Кировоградской, Крымской, Николаевской, Одесской и Херсонской областях. Дерево высокорослое. Плодоносить начинает на 5—6-й год. Плоды крупные (средняя масса 6—7 г, отдельные — до 8—10 г), округло-сердцевидные, светло- желтые с темно-розовым или красным румянцем, созревают в конце первой — начале второй декады июня. Мякоть бесцветная, нежная, сочная, винно-сладкая. Косточка от мякоти отделяется легко. Урожайность высокая.
Розовая млеевская. Сорт выведен в Украине из сеянца сорта Дрогана желтая. Районирован в Житомирской области. Дерево среднерослое. Плоды средние или крупные (масса 5—6 г), светло-желтые с розовым румянцем.
Мякоть желтая, плотная, сочная, сладко-кислая. Урожайность высокая. Сорт зимостойкий
Симферопольская белая. Сорт выведен в Никитском ботаническом саду в результате скрещивания сортов Золотая и Черный орел. Районирован в Украине в Крыму, за ее пределами — в Азербайджане. Дерево среднерослое. Плодоносить начинает на 6—7-й год, далее — еже-годно. Плоды крупные (масса 6—8 г), светло-желтые, почти белые без румянца, созревают в третьей декаде июня (на юге Крыма). Мякоть белая, довольно плотная, средне-сочная, вкус оценивается как очень хороший. Сок бесцветный. Засухоустойчивый сорт.

Тавричанка. Сорт выведен на Мелитопольской опытной станции садоводства в результате скрещивания сортов Франц Иосиф и Вильгельмина. Районирован в Одесской области. Деревья рослые, крона узкоовальная, редкая. Плоды крупные (масса 7—8 г), широкосердцевидные, темно-красные, созревают во второй декаде июня. Мякоть красная или темно-красная, умеренно сочная, сладкая с легкой кислинкой, вкус оценивается как отличный. Урожайность средняя. Засухоустойчивый сорт.
Франц Иосиф. Сорт чешской селекции. Районирован в Украине в Винницкой, Днепропетровской, Донецкой, Запорожской, Ивано-Франковской, Кировоградской, Крымской, Львовской, Николаевской, Одесской, Тернопольской, Херсонской, Хмельницкой и Черновицкой областях; за пределами Украины — на Северном Кавказе, в Туркменистане и Узбекистане. Дерево высокорослое, крона узкопирамидальная. Плодоносить начинает на 4—5-й год, далее — ежегодно. Плоды крупные (масса 6—7 г), янтарно-желтые с пестрым румянцем, созревают в третьей декаде июня. Мякоть розовато-желтая, нежная, сочная, кисловато-сладкая. Сок бесцветный. Зимостойкость средняя.
Черная Фромма. Сорт германской селекции. Районирован в Украине в Волынской, Львовской, Ровенской и Тернопольской областях. Плоды средние или крупные, тупо-сердцевидные, черно-красные, созревают во второй декаде июля, дождливым летом могут растрескиваться и/или загнивать. Мякоть темно-красная, нежная, сочная, сладкая с легкой кислинкой. Сок темно-красный. Транспортабельность плодов хорошая.
В России, помимо Дроганы желтой и Жабуле, чаще всего культивируют следующие сорта:
Поэзия. Плоды желтые с красным румянцем, крупные. Устойчив к коккомикозу.
Синявская. Плоды темно-бордовые, крупные, вкусовые качества высокие, зимостойкость средняя (возможны подмерзание и растрескивание).
Фатеж. Компактное дерево до 3 м высотой, плоды крупные, розовые. Отличается необычным строением кроны (побеги сперва растут вверх под прямым углом, а затем красиво свисают).
Агротехника
Черешня предпочитает рыхлые, легкие плодородные почвы, глинистые почвы исключены. Она влаголюбива и терпимее многих плодовых деревьев относится к грунтовым водам (допустимая высота — 1 м). Любит яркое освещение, но в тени не чахнет (дает меньший урожай).
Размножается порослью и прививко
Прививать можно на поросль окулировкой «глазком». На один подвой можно привить несколько сортов черешни с разными сроками созревания. В средней полосе России и севернее ее черешню для повышения морозостойкости рекомендуют прививать на вишню.
Рекомендуемая глубина посадочной ямы — 60—70 см, диаметр — 70 см, расстояние между деревьями — от Зх5до4х5мв зависимости от сорта, можно высадить черешню в 1 ряд вдоль изгороди. Если посадка проводилась осенью, стволы надо окучить землей.
Взрослые экземпляры удобряются 2 раза в сезон начиная со второго года после высадки: сперва весной во время перекопки, а второй раз — после отцветания. Поливы проводятся по мере необходимости (не больше двух раз за сезон).
Крону обычно формируют разреженно-ярусной, реже — чашевидной (общий принцип — как у вишни и сливы). Основные общие принципы формирования кроны: длина ветвей должна уменьшаться снизу вверх, а угол их отхождения от ствола — увеличиваться; ветви верхних ярусов не должны располагаться непосредственно над ветвями нижних (требуется их смещение по оси ствола).
Регулирующая обрезка должна быть направлена на предотвращение загущения. В начале плодоношения однолетние ветви длиной более 50 см удаляются.
Прочие разновидности обрезки проводятся по мере необходимости. У старых деревьев вершина усыхает. Если это произошло, черешне требуется более сильная омолаживающая обрезка, но плодоношение после нее восстановится не сразу.
