Проблемы с недостаточной урожайностью возникают обычно по двум причинам: либо овощевод пренебрегает важными правилами, либо не знает некоторых секретов. Раскисление почвы

     Если из года в год урожайность помидор оставляет желать лучшего, хотя хозяин не жалеет удобрений (включая «эликсир плодородия» Гуми)и вообще старается всё делать по правилам, следует задуматься: может, дело в повышенной кислотности грунта (или, наоборот, в повышенном щелочном показателе) либо в неграмотном раскислении? Дачные участки далеко не всегда располагаются в зонах со слабокислыми землями, наилучшими для паслёновых культур.

Приметы повышенной кислотности

     Если ваши сорняки — подорожник, конский щавель, хвощ, василёк, лютик, то это приметы избыточной кислотности. Сильная или средняя кислотность препятствуют усвоению томатами питательных веществ. Кусты могут быть большими, но плодов нарастёт маловато. Важная примета нехватки кальция (щёлочи) — вершинная гниль плодов, когда на некоторых помидоринах снизу образуются вдавленные буроватые пятна. Это не инфекция, а некроз тканей из-за недополучения кальция. Кроме томатов, на таких землях сильно страдает любая капуста — от килы.

Что делать

     Выход есть: регулярное правильное раскисление. Насколько регулярное? Это зависит от степени кислотности. Возможно, придётся проводить процедуру ежегодно, а может быть, достаточно раз в 2-3 года. Невозможно исправить ситуацию раз и навсегда, это забота всей жизни, проведённой на огороде. Если сложно на всём участке, то хотя бы на конкретных грядах. Важную роль играют сроки. Оптимальный вариант — с осени, тогда сгодятся и известь-пушонка, и калийно-известковое удобрение. Весной такое внесение может иметь негативные последствия — свеженький кальций будет конкурировать с азотом, и питание тоже пострадает. Допускается весной внесение доломитовой (известняковой) муки или мела как более мягких вариантов. Древесная зола — слабый раскислитель.

Сохранение первой цветочной кисти у помидоров

     Серьёзный недобор урожая может быть связан с тем, что не завязываются томаты на самой первой кисти. Это случается, если кусты высажены переросшими — или рановато посеяны, или поздновато пересажены на постоянное место. А ведь именно на первой кисти завязываются самые полновесные плоды, к тому же это задаёт растению темп дальнейшего развития.

Подкормки томатов бором

     Минеральный элемент бор играет первую скрипку в процессах завязывания и нарастания плодов. 2-3 внекорневых и корневых подкормки за сезон томатам жизненно необходимы. Применяем борную кислоту, Маг-Бор, комплексные наборы микроэлементов.

Метод Маслова

     Садовод (и по совместительству конструктор космических кораблей) И. М. Маслов уже более 30-ти лет назад предложил свой способ, как повысить урожайность помидор на одном кусте. Для этого высокорослый сорт, во-первых, высаживается «лёжа», во-вторых — у него оставляются нижние пасынки и прикапываются рядом. Если достаточно питания и пространства, то один огромный куст способен дать несколько ведер плодов.

Регулярное пасынкование

     Всем известно, что тепличные томаты надо пасынковать, но насколько строго выдерживается это правило? Важны два момента. Во-первых, надо вести куст строго в 1-2 стебля. Во-вторых, отрастающие пасынки нужно ликвидировать как можно раньше. Если не уяснить ценность этих факторов, то увеличить отдачу будет проблематично.

Активное проветривание

     Если в теплице жарче, чем +30 +35 градусов, то у помидор замедляется питание и тормозятся все процессы — цветение, завязывание, налив плодов. Спасает только хорошее проветривание: сквозное (через две противоположные двери, плюс форточки). Ветерок не только снижает температуру, но и потряхивает кусты для лучшего опыления. Если конструкция теплицы препятствует налаживанию комфортного микроклимата, то повысить урожайность помидор можно посадкой жаростойких гибридов и применением препарата Томатон (улучшенный аналог Завязи).

Обработка Цирконом

     Температурные стрессы, связанные с жарой и перепадами, отлично снимает регулятор иммунитета Циркон. Применение этого препарата 3-4 раза за сезон позволяет повысить урожайность помидор на 15-50%.

Подкормки магнием

     Любое тепличное покрытие поглощает часть солнечных лучей, и у кустов нарушаются процессы фотосинтеза. Выправить ситуацию помогут магниевые удобрения (сульфат магния, Маг-Бор).

     Если в теплице томаты страдают от жары, то под открытым небом им холодновато — у нас не Центральная Америка. Высадка кустов на солнечное, не слишком ветреное место способствует повышению урожая.

     Противостоять холодовым и другим уличным стрессам помогает иммуностимулятор Эпин Экстра. Четыре опрыскивания за сезон позволяют повысить урожайность на 15-30%.

Особое пасынкование

     Высокие томаты в открытом грунте пасынкуются аналогично тепличным. С низкорослыми, детерминантными сортами поступаем иначе. Побеги, растущие из земли помимо главного ствола, безжалостно убираем. Далее пасынкуем до первой цветочной кисти. Всё остальное успеет нарасти, больше ограничивать не надо. Избыточное прореживание ведёт к снижению урожайности.
