Что такое «интродукция»?
Термин «интродукция» означает перенос видов и сортов растений в другой регион, то есть туда, где они ранее не выращивались. Соответственно, интродуцированный сорт — сорт, перенесенный из другого района в данную местность. В садоводстве понятие «интродуцированный» чаще употребляют в значении «зарубежный сорт». К таким сортам, например, относятся Мелба, Мантет Лобо, Спартан и т.д., а наша Антоновка обыкновенная за рубежом гоже сорт интродуцированный.
